Dr. Walters grew up in Grants Pass, graduating from GPHS in 1980. He then attended Oregon State University and the Pacific University College of Optometry, graduating in 1988.  Dr. Walters then returned home to Grants Pass to join the Eye Care Group where he is now a senior partner.

Professionally, Dr. Walters has served as President of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association, the Oregon Board of Optometry, the Grants Pass Chamber of Commerce and the Grants Pass Lions Club.  He remains involved as the Sight and Hearing Chairman for the Grants Pass Lions and teaches Sunday school.  He enjoys camping, rafting, fishing and traveling with his family and friends.
